The foreign ministers of different countries congratulate their Georgian counterpart and all of Georgia on the Independence Day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
"Independence, freedom and sovereignty are the most important triad of values. The historical experience of Poland and Georgia has created a solid foundation for respect and commitment to these values. I want to assure you that Poland will continue to support the territorial integrity of Georgia within the internationally recognized borders," - reads the letter by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, which he sent to his Georgian counterpart, Ilia Darchiashvili.
The Romanian Foreign Minister, in his congratulatory letter, responds to the declaration on strategic partnership signed between Georgia and Romania, which defines the dynamics of future relations between the two countries, including areas with unexploited potential.
"I want to assure you that Romania strongly supports Georgia's integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures and is ready to share its experience in this direction," wrote Bogdan Aurescu.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic notes in the congratulatory letter that "European and Euro-Atlantic integration is a historical choice of the Georgian people".
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden also responded to Georgia's Independence Day. The letter states that last year marked the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Sweden and Georgia and at the same time the beginning of the most important stage on the path of Georgia's European integration.
Other letters of congratulations were received by Ilia Darchiashvili from the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Armenia, Belarus, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Paraguay, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
