Today, some people want to present our 30-year-old allies and partners as some unknown and faceless "war party" that invites Georgia into adventure or confrontation, this is a big lie and harm, - said President Salome Zurabishvili in a speech on the occasion of the Day of the Defense Forces of Georgia. According to Salome Zurabishvili, everyone knows well who is the restless enemy of Georgia's statehood and independence.

 

"The Georgian army knows very well who is the enemy and who is the partner, who tried to destroy us and who helped us to form the modern defense forces. Georgian army knows best why we fought in international missions, because we made our contribution and worthy contribution to global security. How many of our soldiers died with dignity for this humanitarian goal - the fight against terrorism. Today, some people want to portray our 30-year-old allies and partners as some unknown and faceless "war party" that invites Georgia into adventure or confrontation, this is a big lie and harm. We, and first of all, you, all know very well, not only for the example of the last 30 years, who is the restless enemy of Georgian statehood and independence, who fought against the Georgian language starting from the 19th century, who constantly fought against the Georgian church and faith, who fought for the independence of Georgia", said Zurabishvili.
