According to stopcov.ge, as part of intensive testing, 10,678 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 5,456 antigen tests and 5,222 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 133 new cases of virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 271,872. As of March 3, the daily positive rate is 1.25%, for the last 14 days - 1.65%, and for 7 days - 1.25%.
In the last 24 hours, 276 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of recoveries increased to 266,081. 12 patients died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,553 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 133 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 78 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 3, Imereti - 20, Kvemo Kartli - 1, Shida Kartli - 8, Guria - 3, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 14, Kakheti - 2, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 1, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 1, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 2.
