Georgia receives $137.1 mln in remittances in April 2019

Georgia received $137.1 million from abroad in April 2019, which is 10.1% more than the amount in April 2018, says the National Bank of Georgia. Russia ($34.35 million), Italy ($18.44 million) and Greece ($16.34 million) were the largest remittance senders in April 2019. Overall, the vast majority (93.7%) of all money transfers from abroad came from 17 countries.
