Georgian Football Federation President appointed as UEFA Football Committee Chair

Levan Kobiashvili, the President of the Georgian Football Federation, has been appointed as a chairman of the UEFA Football Committee, the Georgian Football Federation has reported. This is the first time the representative of the Georgian Football Federation has been appointed as the UEFA Committee chair. Borislav Mihaylov, the president of the Bulgarian Football Union of Bulgaria, will be deputy chairman of the committee. Pavel Chebanu (Moldova) Pavel Cebanu (Moldova), Dejan Savićević (Montenegro), Luis Figo (Portugal) and Demetrio Albertini (Italy) will be appointed as Football Committee Vice-Chairmen. UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) is the governing body of European football.
