Salome Zourabichvili: We should use future years to enter the EU

If we want to achieve our goal, it is necessary to stand together to protect our country’s priorities, – President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili addressed Georgian students at a meeting in Tallinn. The President called them important force for the development and advancement of Georgia. I am always very happy to meet Georgians living abroad and to find out how they live and what they do. It is interesting how you see the joint future of Georgia and Estonia and I am sure that we have this future. Estonia is already in the EU and we are now following them. I think you have a big role in this country because Estonia is our great friend. If we want to achieve our goal, it is necessary to stand together to protect our country’s priorities. Estonians, Baltic States and Poles are our friends and attorneys wherever they can, but nobody can support us like our diaspora and our students and it’s very natural and necessary. I want to thank you for this in advance, Salome Zourabichvili said. As the President of Georgia noted, we should use future years to enter the EU. Our task is to achieve practical entry into different sectors and programs of the European Union today, President said. source: IPN/ interpressnews.ge
