Georgia is not only a friend and neighboring country for Turkey but also a strategic partner, Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevl’uuml;t ‘Ccedil;avuşoğlu, says in the letter of congratulations, sent to his Georgian counterpart Davit Zalkaliani on the occasion of Georgia’s Independence Day. In the letter Mevl’uuml;t ‘Ccedil;avuşoğlu underlines the progress, made by Georgia during the past decades. According to him, Georgia has undergone an impressive transformation and is an example of success. The Foreign Minister of Turkey wishes the Georgian people happiness and prosperity and hopes that exemplary relations between the two countries will be further strengthened and will become the prerequisite for peace and stability in the region.
