Ukrainian SkyUp Airlines entering Kutaisi airport with Odessa-Kharkiv flights

Ukrainian law-cost airlines SkyUp Airlines is launching flights to Odesa and Kharkiv from Kutaisi International Airport starting June 4, announces the United Airports of Georgia.   We are glad that one more low-cost airline company is starting operations in Kutaisi airport. Our strategy is to offer as many low-cost flights as possible from Kutaisi airport so that many tourists have the opportunity to come from different countries and also our citizens to have more chances to fly in Europe at affordable prices”, said director of the United Airports of Georgia Giorgi Chogovadze.   SkyUp Airlines first appeared on the Georgian market in summer 2018 with direct flights from Batumi International Airport.    Later the company also launched flights from Tbilisi International Airport.    So far only Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has been operating in Kutaisi airport since it opened its first Caucasian base in Kutaisi in September 2016.   source: agenda.ge
