Regulations regarding organizing of school excursions have been tightened at the initiative of Georgian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. The duties and responsibilities of the involved sides were defined by an administrative act. The school was instructed to require documents about the qualification of a driver and technical condition of a vehicle from a transporter company. The school administration also has to be informed about the exact date, location, activities and participants of the planned excursion. Head of the excursion should have full data of school students and their parents. The group should include one person who has skills in providing first medical aid if necessary. Transportation of food products should be ensured in line with sanitary/hygienic norms. The regulations have already been sent to all educational institutions. source: 1TV/1tv.ge
