Georgian PM, Turkish President to discuss issues of strategic interests, FM Darchiashvili says

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to discuss issues of strategic interests, said Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili.

 

The FM stressed that “Turkey is Georgia’s strategic partner and the PM’s visit will give a strong impetus to the close relations between the nations.”

 

“We have very strong, close, friendly relations and our people-to-people ties are special. I am sure that this visit will bring a very strong and solid impulse”, said Ilia Darchiashvili.
