The Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Otar Shamugia met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Georgia Alexander Esaulenko.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of deepening trade relations between the countries and investment opportunities.

 

"I am glad to meet you. As you know, our countries are going through a difficult and responsible path of integration into the European Union. I think that with coordinated and effective cooperation, we will be able to achieve the desired goal and in time we will become members of the European family", said Otar Shamugia.

 

Within the framework of the meeting, the minister spoke about the state support programs implemented in the direction of agriculture and environment and focused on agricultural products with export potential.
"Georgia has made significant progress in the direction of agriculture and environmental protection. We will be happy if we are given the opportunity to share experience and deepen trade relations", said Alexander Esaulenko.

 

The conversation touched upon the issue of organizing the Georgia-Moldova bilateral business forum, which will create a favorable environment for the development of business relations. Heads of relevant services attended the meeting held in the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture.
