Public Defender: All accredited media should be allowed to be in the Parliament and cover the current day from the perspective it deems appropriate

15.04.24 12:25

All accredited media should be allowed to be in the parliament and cover today from the perspective it deems correct - to ask questions and receive answers - this is how Public Defender Levan Ioseliani responds to the decision to not allow accredited media outlets into the parliament.

Based on the order of the chairman of the parliament, only the accredited journalists of the television stations were allowed to enter the parliament building and cover the planned sessions - no journalists of other media outlets, including the accredited correspondents of "Interpressnews" were allowed into the legislative body.

The Legal Affairs Committee of the Parliament, in the first reading, is considering the draft law "On transparency of foreign influence".
