Beka Davituliani: No one has received a message about sanctioning by email

26.06.24 12:20

No one has received a message [about sanctioning] by email, and it seems that it was sent by horses – when the horse gets off the ship and then brings the message from Batumi to Tbilisi, we will get it - in general, when you come out and say that I have sanctioned 25 to 34 people, it is a big absurdity and stupidity, - Georgian Dream deputy Beka Davituliani stated while talking to journalists.

According to him, "if they are acting so not seriously, let them act and continue like this".

"Yesterday, you asked me about Anri Okhanashvili's sanctioning and I answered that it is complete nonsense, we do not have such information, and where do you get such information from, when Anri himself does not have it? Now you are asking me about Dito Samkharadze, tomorrow you will ask me about me and the day after that about someone else. There is no such information, and in general, I will tell you something very simple - when you come out and say that I sanctioned 25 to 34 people, this is a big absurdity and nonsense. This is not serious, if they are acting so not seriously, let them act and continue like this.

One person says that the message has been sent, and the addressee, who should have received it, has not received it. So, they did not send. I.e. it seems that the message was sent by horses – when the horse gets off the ship and then brings the message from Batumi to Tbilisi, we will get it. No one has received an e-mail," said Davituliani.

In addition, the deputy of the majority notes that the issue of suspending visa liberalization will not be on the agenda.

"Georgian Dream has no anti-Western policy. Today, Georgian Dream has a policy of survival in this difficult geopolitical situation, and when we survive, everyone will understand that we did the right thing and everyone will want to deeply cooperate with us.

Suspension of visa liberalization is not a serious matter. This will not be on the agenda," said Davituliani.
